It, as the first orthopaedic devices enterprise with an equipment investment of more than 100 million RMB in the country, has an advanced processing center imported from Germany, U.S.A, and Japan. It has 100 sets Automatic Lathe, and is the industrialization base of the National 863 Project and the main hi-tech enterprise of Torch Project in National level. It established research and development center of orthopaedic devices with some famous of domestic universities and abroad, and initiated a road with scientific research, clinical, materials, and manufacture together.

Conforming to American FDA orthopaedic devices GMP stipulation, the enterprise produces spinal implants using the import materials in accordance with ?ASTM F67, ASTM F136－02a,, the product quality has reached the advanced level of the Occident.

Prospect of enterprise

The industry garden of WeiGao Orthopaedic Devices Company covers 200,000 sq,m. A standardization workshop covered 100,000 sq,m will be built by 600 million RMB of project investment in 3 years. Using import Automatic Lathe and processing center will produce all the implants. The aim is to be stronger, larger, and professional, to reach a production scale of 1 billion yuan / year and create the first brand of the Nation.
